Oooh Yea, Dont-cha know....

Flew up to the land of 10,000 lakes yesterday and I am enjoying the beautiful scenery while visiting my one of my little sisters. She moved up here back in January to chase down a boy. Is there a trend in my family?

She has a great apartment right across the street from a lake. Her man lives just on the other side of the water. It is a pretty nice setup. Claire is going to join us on Thursday night and we are going to hang out in the Twin Cities for the weekend. Should be great!

But I do have one HUGE complaint. My little sister owns a flat screen TV. I am a bit miffed since it seems that I am the only one in the world that does not have one. I need a flat screen so I can properly enjoy the Wii. Maybe I can convince Claire to buy me one for her birthday. Yea, that's the ticket.

------

Speaking of birthdays, a big, fat HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Claire's youngest sister Sarah...you know, the one who just got married. She is turning an age today...not gonna share that one. You think I am crazy? No way, she scares me.

------

Seems that there is a lot of consternation regarding the lack of video evidence of me doing the worm. I never knew that people were so interested in that dance move. Sure, I am particularly adept at it, but that is the kind of video that can kill political careers.

------

I felt like I was back in college this morning...waking up at a friend's house, trying to be quiet so as to not wake anyone else up, going through cabinets looking for breakfast, finding fruity pebbles...etc.
Man I love me some Fruity Pebbles. They rock.

Fruity Pebbles DO rock. But Frosted Flakes and Apple Jacks aren't half bad either!

Now I'm hungry for cereal. Thanks.

You are quite the jet setter, Bogart!

Ah, I loved those college-era visits. I also miss Fruity Pebbles. I'm eating peanut butter toast right now because my kids just polished off the good (aka - sugar) cereal and hour ago. The nerve!

Enjoy your visit!

You're not kidding, Fruity Pebbles totally rock!

I need to know something though, do you have a job or do you let Claire support you in the manner in which you're accustomed? ;-)

Interesting family trend--quite the romantics! So what was the part that comes before the "waking up at a friend's house"? The drinking? The partying? Oh, right, the studying.

You mean to tell me that a perfectly good, frosted cake that just so happens to have a who-ha pushing out a baby SINGED YOUR EYEBALLS?

You know what's good? Rice crispy treats made with fruity pebbles. Delish. I guess that would be fruity pebble treats. But still. Dee-lish!

Oh Bogie, my dear, you're not the only one who doesn't own a flat screen! Much to the chagrin of The IAM, my television is about twenty years old!

We will adapt to this newfangled technology, I'm sure.

And you're right, Fruity Pebbles DO rock!

You shouldn't have put fat in that Happy Birthday greeting. women don't like that I've been told.

I love that some of your readers wonder aloud if you have job. Nicely done sir.

I am not convinced. No video proof of you doing the worm? Didn't the NFL network have a big man dance contest a few years back? (not a fat joke, this Bogart has legit talent - and I can no longer make fat jokes, grin).

We need a Covenant investigation of the ECCC incident. There might have even been Hawaiian shirts involved...

((and for old times.. Cheerios))

WWoW - Gimme some Lucky Charms and I am a happy man.

DKG - I do end up on the road quite a bit.

Laura - Working from home does provide some advantages.

OK - I was one of those good kids in college. Waking up at a friends usually meant that we were up playing poker or arguing about politics.

April - That sounds so good.

CH - I will join the land of the Flat Screen soon...very soon.

Katelin - Best Buy, 10am on Sunday. You can get the hook up.

rs27 - Good catch. I have sent my apologies.

Stacie - Thanks.

KP/Nash - You know I am always working...maybe not traditional "work" per se, but work nonetheless.

Joe - Settle down...we don't need a riot in here.

Cookie crisp. Yummo.

Pretty sure they are not real cookies though, darn it.
