Celebrate Capitalism

On Sunday when we were headed back to the airport to fly back to VA, I saw a beautiful site...It moved me so much, I had to take a picture to share it with you:
That's right, gas UNDER two bucks a gallon. I felt rich. It made me want to go out and buy a Hummer or a Bus.

Still $2.35-$2.45 here in Maine. But I can still appreciate how intoxicating that price is... it actually starts with a one!

Guess what! It's $1.82/gallon here in Iowa. I feel like going out on joyrides every night!

Now...about that Steak & Shake in the background...sigh...I wish there was one of those here to drive to!

I was totally tickled pink to see it at $2.65 here in San Diego...it wasn't long ago that it was $4.41!

Yes... a beautiful sight!

I came over this way after using the last drop of my peppermint mocha coffee creamer which made me think of the post in which you mentioned it... and how I am going to buy more and freeze it.

Yay Capitalism!

The lowest I have seen it here in AZ is $2.45. But still I was psyched! Until I saw your post and now I am filled with gas envy. Wait, that doesn't sound right. I mean gas price envy. Yeah. Much better.
