So while in San Diego, Claire and I had a really good dinner with our great friends Steve and Stacey...after we ate, we waddled over to Cost Plus and meandered around.
During our time there, we found something crazy amazing. It is revolutionary. It is life altering. It is 
"like butt-ah"...
"like butt-ah"...It is Bacon Chocolate.
Yes, you read that right. Bacon Chocolate. It is Mo's Bacon Bar.
The description says:

Hmmm not sure how to feel about chocolate bacon... apples and chocolate.. ok, but applewood bacon and chocolate?

Okay...I was totally skeptical. I LOVE me some chocolate and I LOVE me some bacon and, although my dad and brother-in-law have been enjoying this combo for sometime, was pretty sure it would be disgusting. Well, after the huge margaritas at dinner I was feeling a bit more adventurous and I have to say it was SO good. If you like a salty/sweet combo you should really give it a try. It's not an overwhelming bacon taste, but, man-o-man, is it good!
I literally gagged when I read that.
My 16 year old son LOVES bacon. When we were on vacation we were going to make bacon and eggs for breakfast but ran out of time and he was in a FOUL mood for HOURS. On Father's Day, he and his sister fried up a pound of bacon and ate all but two pieces before their Dad could even get some.

I just saw a blog post somewhere and it was a guy taste testing this candy bar on a video post. I'll be interested in hearing what you think of the flavor...
My husband might leave me for a strip of bacon dipped in chocolate :)
