When will the weatherman learn?

I am a San Diego boy...this whole thing about "weather" I just don't get.

For today, I ordered 70 degrees AND sunny. I did not order 70 degrees OR sunny, but for some reason that is what I keep getting. Today it is 70 with rain and thunder. This past weekend, it was Sunny, but 36 degrees and windy.

It is time that he get it right. Sheesh.

Last night, Claire made a sweet dinner that I thought I would pass along for those of you struggling with the last bits of Turkey or dreading the Christmas leftovers...

She took turkey, a green apple, 1/2 an onion, pepper, salt, olive oil, mayo, shredded cheese and a clove of garlic, threw it into the food processor and ground it all together...After letting that mixture rest for an hour, wrapped the mix into tortillas and baked at 375 for 12-15 mins.

With a little garlic ranch and hot sauce...wowee.

Wedding planning is hard. Just had to get that out there.

I totally don't believe you that that MASH was good. It sounds yucky. Guess you'll just have to invite me over and prove it!!

At this point, I'd take 36 and windy. Heck, anything without a negative symbol in front of it would work for me all winter!

Anytime a recipe involves a green apple, mayo and a food processor, it's bound to be a good time.

I feel sad never having a picture.

The best wedding planning advice I got was to pick 3 things that are important and only worry about those things. Everything else will just work out.

It's simple and it worked for me. Good luck!

They ran the weather on the news out here 8 times in the first half hour yesterday..

maybe it was because the weather girl was hot or maybe it was to rub in that it will be 70 and sunny here all week.

Weather people work on guesstimates, pure and simple.

The wedding planning isn't the greatest, but it is one of the BEST parties of your life. Sharkey and I would totally do it again!

Planning anything after the wedding is a challenge as well.

On another note ... I'm really, really good at predicting time.
It is now 1:14am ... In two minutes it will be 1:16am.
Pretty good, huh?

What? Did you say wedding planning is HARD? I think you meant to say that wedding planning is FUN! And lots of it!
