Fall Chill = Smile on my Face

Fall is here and Winter is coming.

That gives me a chance to pull out my Fleece Jacket, much like the one in the picture on the right...it was my grandfather's. He was the same size as I am...tall, broad shoulders, sorta resembling a linebacker that did not hit the gym quite enough.

Everytime I pull it over my head I stop and think of him.

Good memories! Thank you for coming Mr. Fall and Old Man Winter...

This post makes me smile because, earlier today, I pulled on a pair of warm socks that belonged to my grandma. My grandma passed away four years ago today, and in the assortment of things that were given to me when we cleaned out her apartment, were the socks. I took a few moments to talk to her today while I was getting ready.

I hate the cold and miss my nice warm So Cal family. :( You and Juice can hang out in the cold - I'll go hang with the dolphins. On a serious note - I'm glad you get to wear your grandpa's fleece, it must be bitter sweet for you. Miss ya, bro.

I like fall weather too. Not so crazy about winter though...the thought of shoveling snow makes me want to cry!

It is nice to have those wonderful memories of your grandfather though :)

I love that you wear your grandfather's old pullover. You are such a good guy, Bogart.

I love the cold weather... I just dragged out my Patagonia fleece I bought in NYC a few months ago, and am loving it... I love the crisp, freshness in the air...
